City Sewer Workers Discover Ancient Pongo Deity

Como, Italy

While digging up a sewer pipe in the historical city center of this northern Italian town, a municipal sewer crew came across a treasure trove of artifacts from the Pagan Pongo Age, dating back to 500 BC. Archaeologists have confirmed the authenticity of the find. Shown here is a bust of a heretofore unidentified deity.

"The Saturday Night un-Massacre" or "How God Works in Mysterious Ways"

His name is baby Dobie. Well, what the hell else was i gonna call him? I admit it, playing God is fairly heavy shit. It’s getting to me. Way heavier than i would have thought, even with the thousands of years of hands on experience. I’ve just never really gotten used it. There, I said it. For those who are asking themselves the ultimate question, I will answer you immediately. Yes, he is fashioned out of the remains of his Dad, plus a little mauve, or blueberry. What would you call it?

This is hard.

It is with a heavy heart that I must tell you all that our dog Sirius munched and crunched our friend early this morning. His name was Dobie. I thought you might want to know. I almost posted a picture of the resulting mess, but it would not have been dignified. What can I say? He died at the age of 2 days and knew how to have a good time. Use your imagination.

Peace, brother Dobie.
